Walk Through a Glowing Garden at Lightscape in Brooklyn

Lightscape returns to Brooklyn Botanic Garden for its sixth season, running select evenings from November 20, 2026 through January 3, 2027. It is a nearly one-mile after-dark walk through light sculptures, colorful projections on trees and water, and accompanying music. For guests of Harbor Motor Inn, it is a festive evening out close to Brooklyn.

The 2026 trail is new this year, and it celebrates the Garden itself and its four seasons. Entry is timed, and tickets are sold online in advance, so plan ahead.

Tips for your visit:

  • Buy tickets ahead of time at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden website. Off-peak dates are generally less expensive than weekends and holiday dates.
  • Check your ticket for your entry time, and arrive a little early.
